Concept:

• Players can participate in growing and selling weed, adding an illegal economic activity to the roleplay experience.

Implementation:

There are two main ways weed farms are implemented:

1. Scripted Weed Farming:
   • Servers use custom scripts to manage the weed-growing process.
   • Players typically:
     • Purchase seeds or clones.
     • Find or own a grow location (interior or exterior).
     • Tend to the plants virtually (watering, adding nutrients, etc.) following in-game timers.
     • Harvest the plants when mature.
     • Process the weed into sellable products (joints, bags, etc.)
     • Sell the weed to other players or NPCs (non-playable characters).
2. MLO Weed Farms:
   • These servers utilize Map Location Object (MLO) mods.
   • MLOs add custom-built interiors specifically designed for weed farms. These interiors may include:
     • Growing areas with lights, ventilation, and water systems.
     • Processing areas for drying and packaging.
     • Storage rooms for supplies and products.
